Is Matthew’s Hope a Soup Kitchen?

Is Matthew’s Hope a Soup Kitchen?

No, we do not offer meals every day.

However, every Tuesday we serve breakfast and lunch on property, and we offer dinner-to-go in a take-away sack for our homeless guests to bring with them back into the woods.

We do offer a pantry of donated food for guests so they can eat during the week. Here they can get free canned vegetables, or they are able to do some work here at the ministry in exchange for groceries, including coffee, pasta, canned meats and diapers. We call this system our points program, and believe it enables us to offer a hand-up instead of a hand out.
